The Stormrunner is an unmanned surface vessel (USV) designed for rapid mobilization; it features a durable HDPE monohull and can be deployed using a standard road trailer or a 40-ft (12-m) ISO container.

Its sensor suite integrates RADAR, EO/IR cameras, and anti-jamming dual GNSS, supported by a multi-path communications architecture utilizing Starlink, LTE, and Iridium. Powered by the SM300-SP autonomy system for navigation, mission execution, and protocols during signal loss.

On Sept. 3, 2025, Sea Machines Robotics announced the official market launch of the Stormrunner as an available product.

On April 21, 2026, Sea Machines Robotics announced that Leonardo DRS selected the Stormrunner to demonstrate its maritime counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) equipment package.
