The REMUS (remote environmental measuring units) is an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) developed by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution for use in underwater mapping. It was adapted by the U.S. Navy for use in low-visibility mine and obstacle reconnaissance missions.
