The Barracuda unmanned surface vessel-target (USV-T) is based on a modified rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB). The vessel has a fiberglass hull and is powered by a 225-hp marine diesel engine. It can operate at speeds of more than 36 knots (67 kmh) in conditions up to Sea State 3.
The vessel can be controlled remotely at ranges of more than 10 nm (19 km). The Barracuda can also be configured for over-the-horizon control. A digital radio command link controls the USV-T's course...
