1 Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV)
These 35-ton submersibles first appeared in 1986 and can dive to 1,970 ft (600 m). They can rescue up to 22 personnel from waters up to 660 ft (200 m) deep. Six to 10 can be rescued in a wet rescue operation. The subs can also be used for underwater salvage work. According to some sources, these DSRVs may be known as the Type 7103.
