0 ZHUK-class PATROL BOATS (PB) (Project 1400)
The ZHUK class was a coast guard and patrol vessel developed in the Soviet Union. It was used for coastal, riverine and open water patrols. Designed as a cheap and easily usable patrol ship, it was heavily used by the KGB maritime guard and the Russian coastal and border forces. Components and equipment onboard varied due to the number of versions developed.
The class was also known as the Project 1400 or Grif (Vulture) in Russia.
