These Brazilian large patrol craft were based on the U.S. Coast Guard's CAPE class 95-ft (29-m) patrol boats. They were built in Brazil with U.S. funds under the Military Assistance Program (MAP). For U.S. accounting purposes, they were assigned the U.S. hull numbers PGM-109/110 and PGM-118/121.

All were used as patrol craft, then attached to the Mato Grosso Flotilla; PIRAJA and POTI were attached in 1996, with the others the following year. When in service, they were based at Fluvial de Laderio. All have been stricken.
