0 FAST PATROL CRAFT (North Korean Nampo class**)
The North Korean-built Nampo class ** personnel assault landing craft was based on the design of the Soviet P-6 craft (see separate database entry).
Unlike the North Korean version, this craft did not have a retractable bow ramp or troop accommodations, and was used strictly in the patrol role.
Originally four craft were transferred from North Korea in 1979, but three were lost in a typhoon in April 1984.
