description

All units were launched between March 1989 and October 1991. They were originally designation P-07 through P-11. At one point, there were plans for 13 units, but construction of the final eight units was cancelled in 1991.

The boats have steel construction.

status

All five craft are in active service. LP-07 is based at Isla Margarita; LP-8, Lake Itaipu; LP-09, Bahia Negra; LP-10, Asuncion; and LP-11, Encarnarcion.
