This craft was originally built for Singapore's navy for service as a diving tender (YDT). She was also capable of performing mine-clearance route survey work or assisting in salvage operations.

Decommissioned from service in Singapore in September 2001. The ship was transferred to Indonesia on March 21, 2002.
