Modified NATYA-I class design. Built as trials ship for a new minehunting system deployed from the deckhouse on the fantail.

Active with the Black Sea Fleet since July 1985. Based at Novorossiysk. With no regular mine countermeasures systems fitted, this boat is now good for service only as a patrol ship.
