4 LANDING CRAFT MARABUT CLASS Pennant numbers range from 872 to 875.
The Marabut class were flat-bottomed craft with a hull made of glass-reinforced plastic. The craft had a bow ramp and a flush deck. The superstructure consisted of a sloping nose with retractable cover, a low deckhouse with several doors on each side, and a small bridge well aft. A 14.5-mm machine gun turret is located atop the bridge.
Completed in mid-1970s. Stricken in 1990-91.
