description
The Peruvian navy has acquired 12 Griffon 200TD hovercraft since 2009. The craft are used by the navy, marines and coast guard to patrol the river network along the border with Brazil.
HULL: The hull is of glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) and marine grade aluminium construction. The craft can carry 4,850 lb (2,200 kg) of cargo in lieu of 16 troops.
