The Australian Jindalee system is the only Western over-the-horizon-backscatter (OTH-B) radar to have been developed outside of the United States. The Jindalee operational radar network (JORN) consists of three OTH-B systems and forms part of a layered surveillance network for Australia's north and northwestern approaches.
