The Flat Twin** radar was an anti-ballistic missile (ABM ) terminal intercept control radar. It was modular to permit storage and rapid assembly. The radar was transportable via truck, rail or aircraft. The time to disassemble, transport and reassemble at a new, prepared site was reportedly six to eight weeks.
