The Ultra SSQ-906 LOFAR is an omni-directional passive sonobuoy that covers an acoustic range of 4Hz to 3,000Hz. The low electrical and mechanical self-noise characteristics ensure that the buoy is limited only by the ambient noise environment in which it is utilized.
