This is a side-looking and bottom-scanning shipboard sonar, designated as the Cockchafer. (the name refers to a beetle with fan-like antennae that aid in sensing.)
It is in service in a number of British-made ships. The sonar classifies objects at mid-depth and on the sea floor, the three transducers working together to provide a profile of the area surrounding the ship.
