K8000 advanced mine-hunting sonar

The K8000 is a high-resolution side-scanning sonar designed to survey large ocean areas rapidly to detect bottom and close-tethered mines.

The mine-hunting system consists of the tow body, or tow fish, winch and handling subsystem and the operator console. The tow body can be deployed from small craft, as well as from helicopters.
