The DUBM 44 is a high-resolution, side-scan synthetic aperture sonar ( SAS ) designed to replace DUBM 41 sonars in service with France's ANTARES -class sonar vessels and for a new unmanned surface vessel (USV) for power projection and fleet support operations. Thales designates the system as the T-SAS (Towed Synthetic Aperture Sonar). In French service, the sonar is known as the DUBM 44.
