ZW06

The Dutch ZW06 is a lightweight, surface warning (Zee Waarschuwing) radar. Its design emphasizes surface search and navigation; the radar has a limited air search capability although it can be used for helicopter control.

The solid-state transmitter is driven by a tunable magnetron with two selectable pulse lengths and pulse repetition frequencies (PRFs). The shorter pulse length yields good range discrimination of 33 to 66 ft (10-20 m).
