The French Pollux radar is a shipboard gunfire-control radar operated as part of the Canopus C fire-control system. The radar was intended from the outset for the export market. Target tracking is accomplished by the Canopus C using the I/J-band radar or an electro-optical sensor that is often co-l ocated on the radar's mount (or both).
