The French Castor series of fire-control radars has been exported to several other navies, usually as part of the Vega fire-control system. The Castor IIB and IIC have polarizing-rotation Cassegrain antennas in dual-axis, gyro-stabilized mounts. They can be employed in radar-only, radar and TV-trac ker, and TV-only active modes, and in a passive track-on jammer mode.
