Square Tie (Russian: MR-331 Rangout) is a small, lightweight, short-range naval surface search/navigation radar fitted in small surface combatants. It also serves for target acquisition and data transmittal for SS-N-2 Styx anti-ship missiles.
The system features a paraboloid shaped reflector which is illuminated by an overhung horn feed. It is typically positioned at the top of the mast.
Its design and performance is similar to the Pot Drum radar fitted in torpedo craft.
