The EL/M-2221 search, track and guidance/gunnery radar (STGR) is a naval fire-control radar. It was originally developed as part of the Barak point-defense missile system.
The radar is an extremely accurate, monopulse pulse-Doppler system. It is capable of tracking highly maneuverable targets after fast, automatic acquisition, and guiding missiles and guns against air and surface targets.
