The TRS-15 is a medium-range mobile S-band radar designed for air defense and command-and-control missions. It is designed to fill radar coverage gaps in specific areas. The TRS-15 also provides good low-level target detection capability, high mobility and rapid deployment.
The antenna is of the transmit/receive planar array type. The antenna pattern for transmitting is a cosecant square. The reception pattern has seven beams stacked in elevation. Azimuth beamwidth is 1.8 deg....
