SON-30 Fire Wheel

The SON-30 Kama (NATO: Fire Wheel) is a truck-mounted, fire control radar used in conjunction with the PUAZO-30 directors for controlling the 130-mm KS-30 towed anti-aircraft gun.

The system is derived from the Fire Can radar.

In service in declining numbers along with the KS-30.

Formerly in service with Iraq, Vietnam and Yemen.

Development of the SON-30 took place in the 1950s. By 1957, it had replaced the previous SON-4 and SON-9 radars in Soviet service.
