The PSM-33 is a mobile three-dimensional air defense radar consisting of a tripod-mounted antenna, a transmitter cabin and a receiver/processor cabin. Setup/takedown time is about one hour.
The antenna comprises a parabolic cylinder reflector fed by a linear array of 40 elements. A built-in secondary antenna uses the primary antenna's reflector.
Operational modes include general surveillance; single or two-sector surveillance; search/designation; and pure designation mode.
