The Oeil Vert (Green Eye) is a pulse-Doppler radar used for aircraft tracking and surveillance. The system is usually mounted in a housing on the turret of anti-aircraft vehicles.
The Oeil Vert is a versatile radar with a variable tracking mode, providing either long-range (9.3 mi/15 km) or close-in (4.0 mi/6.5 km) surveillance as determined by the operator. There are also moving target indicator (MTI) and track-while-scan (TWS) options.
