The JY-8 (NATO: Wall Rust) is a mobile, tactical three-dimensional air defense radar with multiple-target track capability. It is deployed in three shelters: antenna/transmitter/receiver, operations and maintenance. A circular polarization radome reduces weather interference by 12-15 dB.
