Guardsman

The Guardsman 3D was a low-level air and coastal defense mobile radar, the last in the Guardsman series. The system was housed in a single shelter, readily transportable and could be airlifted when necessary. It was the successor to the Guardsman II and incorporated significant improvements over its predecessor, particularly in signal processing, system reaction time and minimization of clutter returns. It could detect incoming aircraft at ranges beyond 56 mi (90 km).
