The ELM-2084 is an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar designed to detect artillery rounds and rockets after launch, even under conditions of ground clutter and electromagnetic interference. It has high-update tracking systems that enable the system to accurately calculate launch points and anticipated impact locations.
