Big Mesh** is a ground control interception (GCI) radar that is similar to the that of the Bar Lock and Back Net. Like the Big Bar A, Big Mesh has its rear, upper antenna array situated in the V-beam configuration to allow for height-finding ability. The antenna array is tilted 25 degrees from the horizontal.
This radar was used primarily for the control of interceptor aircraft.
