Back Net is a ground-based, mobile air search and ground control intercept (GCI) radar associated with the S-200 Volga (SA-5 Gammon**). The system consists of two back-to-back large parabolic reflectors. Each antenna has three feeds forming three beams stacked in elevation. The antenna rotates thre e or six rotations per minute. The upper antenna is to detect high-flying targets, while the lower antenna is for low-flying targets.
