The AR-3D three-dimensional (3D) radar is a transportable air-defense surveillance radar. It consists of an antenna, receivers, transmitter and processor.
The antenna uses both mechanical and electronic scanning to provide target data. Mechanical rotation of the radar beam gives a 360-degree scan azimuth. The antenna uses electronic scanning in the vertical plane for height-finding.
