The AN/MPS-14 is high-power, extremely accurate, long-range, height-finder radar, a mobile, version of the AN/FPS-6 (see separate database entry). System components of the MPS-14 are identical and interchangeable with those of the FPS-6.
It is transportable to a prepared site by six trucks and three trailers. The trailers serve both as transport medium and shelter.
