The WolfPack program was run by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in conjunction with BAE Systems. It was later turned over to the U.S. Army.
The program was intended to create a distributed, self-networked electronic warfare system that would deny the enemy use of communications and radars throughout the battlespace. After the individual sensors (or "wolves") were deployed, they organized to jam and detect most efficiently.
