Sycomor

The Sycomor is a chaff and infrared decoy dispensing system used on the French Mirage F1 attack aircraft. The basic system includes a system electronic unit (SEU) that interacts with the threat warning receiver and the weapons control system.

The SEU, located in the nose of the gondola or pod, assesses and ranks the threats, chooses an appropriate decoying program and triggers the dispensers.
