The SPN-2 (1RL248-2 Heart Ache) is a ground-based high-power noise jamming system designed to protect small facilities from observation by pulsed airborne radars, such as side-looking (SL), air-to-surface weapon control (WC), navigation and low-altitude flight (LAF) radars.
It can be utilized as a stand-alone system or as part of a group of centrally controlled jammers, such as the Russian AKUP-1 automated jammer control system.
