The RAS-1B was an airborne electronic intelligence (ELINT) system usually fitted to large transport aircraft. The system could be operated by as few as two operators and manually or automatically controlled.
Visual displays plotted target data on map displays or other readouts. Electronic memory files recorded data on identified targets for ease of update.
