The EL/L-8312 is the signal detection/location subsystem of the EL/L-8300 airborne signals intelligence (SIGINT) system (see separate database entry). It can also be used as a stand-alone system and can identify and locate signals out to the radio horizon.

The system is installed into a Phalcon AEW aircraft as well as other platforms.
