The Dragonfly is an automated jamming system designed to disrupt enemy communications. The system is capable of jamming up to six frequencies simultaneously. The Dragonfly system consists of two antennas, an exciter, power amplifier, digital processor and a control and display unit, together with a low-voltage power supply.
The system was designed to meet the needs of the 360th EW squadron of the Royal Air Force. Delivery was completed in 1985 after 20 systems were installed...
