CIRCE (Containerized Integrated Reaction Countermeasures Effectors) is a rapid reaction multi-effector softkill torpedo countermeasures system.
The system utilizes stationary jammers and mobile decoys and is designed for use by submarines.
CIRCE consists of a launching system mounted on the outside of a submarine's hull and a control computer connected to the torpedo detection system of the sub, which determines when to launch the countermeasures.
