The ARI18228 was a radar warning receiver (RWR) similar in design and function to the ARI18223 (see separate entry), but intended for uses with less modern attack aircraft.
Incoming radar signal locations were displayed on a multi-threat cathode-ray tube (CRT) display console. The ARI18228 also provided information on the frequency band and signal type.
No longer in production, and no longer in service. Last in service on RAF Buccaneer and F-4 Phantom aircraft.
