The AQ-31 is a digitally operated deception-jamming pod with ram-air cooling. It can be operated in tandem with another AQ-31 pod through a single control panel in the aircraft cockpit. Used against continuous wave radars operating in the E-J-bands, typically with the AR-753 set-on receiver.
AM, FM, noise/sawtooth jamming modes available. High power output.

No longer in production. Current service status not reported. CelsiusTech was last reported to support the system (1997).
