The AN/ALR-47 is the passive radar electronic countermeasures (ECM) system installed in the Canadian CP-140 Aurora under the designation ALR-502.
The ALR-47 operates in the E- to J-bands and is designed to search for and detect signals of short duration such as those that might be used by submarines.
