The TMRS-05 is a vehicle-mounted tactical radio system designed for search-and-rescue (SAR) missions. It is operational with the Slovak air force's SAR command and assists with the control and deployment of ground and airborne rescue assets after air accidents.
The system is able to link all of Slovakia's military and civil agencies that might participate in a SAR operation in a common system.
