The Radar Doppler Interception (RDI) is an all-weather, multi-mode, high PRF (100 KHz+), pulsed-Doppler radar fitted to the Mirage 2000 interceptor aircraft. The RDI was the first radar of this type to be designed and built in France.
The set was designed for interception and air combat. Its functions are ground mapping; air-to-ground ranging; and air-to-air search and track.
