The Horizon (helicoptere d'observation radar et d'investigation sur zone) is a helicopter-borne battlefield surveillance and target designation radar that is flown in modified Aerospatiale AS 532 Super Pumas. Horizon is a follow-on, but scaled-down version of the Orchidee (observatoire ra dar coherent heliporte d'investigation des elements ennemis) battlefield radar (see "Variants," below).
