The Gabbiano (Seagull) is a family of advanced X-band, pulse-Doppler, coherent radars designed to be carried by aerial platforms for sea, land and coastal surveillance in all weather conditions. Italy selected the Gabbiano for its RASS -CI coastal surveillance system.

The radar provides short- and long-range surveillance capability for homeland security, exclusive economic zone protection, environmental, maritime patrol, search-and-rescue and special operations missions.
