Foxfire**

Foxfire** is an airborne air-intercept radar used in several Russian-made fighter aircraft.

It was likely associated with the AA-3/5/6** air-to-air missiles; the -3 and -5 missiles are no longer in service.

The missile is in service, though in declining numbers (see "Users"). The manufacturer has made little technical information available about this system.
