The ARI 5955 is a British heliborne anti-submarine warfare (ASW) radar in widespread NATO use. It is used primarily to detect surfaced submarines or periscopes. The system consists of the ARI 5955 radar sensor and processor and the ARI 5954 transponder. The ARI 5955 itself is a variant of the AW391 (A) radar.
